How to have your roofing warranty voided?

Hey roofing contractors - when we provide services for our customers, they get a roofing warranty and/or a roof shingle manufacturer warranty. What do they need to know to prevent voiding the warranty?

Homeowners should never perform roof repar work on their home or hire an outside roofing contractor to do so or you greatly risk the chance of having your warranty from the initial roofer and manufacturers warranty voided.
