If your home has no trees around, chances are that you may never need to clean the leaves off your roof, or maybe once a year as preventative maintenance. You also need to check your gutters. Be very careful when you get up on the ladder. Don't step on the gutters or use them to secure your position on the ladder. You can use a regular broom to sweep the roof, but you put yourself in danger of falling or damaging your shingles.
