As with any roof, an architectural shingle roof is only as good as the contractor that installs it. Extra care must be taken with the fastening procedures of an architectural shingle roof or the homeowner will end up with "many roof leaks" in the future. This is becoming a serious problem here in Virginia and throughout the country.
