| January, 30 2012 |  | | D.E.G. roofing was sent to my house to repair my leaking roof last year by Rockwell Roofing in Leominster. Less than a year later my roof was leaking again. I was not able to get an answer from Duane of D.E.G. roofing and when I contacted Rockwell roofing they told me that they woulod look into it. I was also told by Duane to pay him directly, when I spoke with Rockwell they said that that was not how it was supposed to be done. I was supposed to pay Rockwell and they would pay Duane. I was also told that I was over charged for the repair. I would be very careful when a sub contractor is sent out. I hope Rockwell will take care of this matter. I would never recommend D.E.G. roofing to anyone, they are hacks. No option for zero stars. | | Don C - Shirley, MA | | | April, 1 2011 | | | Dwayne Garlise (D.E.G. Roofing) was recommended to me by a friend and over charged me to shovel my roof and admitted to it.
On February 4, 2011 I called Dwayne to have my roof shoveled; he told me it was $30 an hour per person. The next afternoon 5 men came to shovel the roof and were finished in 1 ½ hours. The cost should have been $225.00 they charged me $600. I contacted Dwayne to complain about being over charged. He told me he had to charge me more because he needed the money. Dwayne said that he would refund me $200 and that was it. I have never received a refund and every time I talk to Dwayne he says he has no money to send me. It has been 2 months and I am still waiting for my refund. I called the other day on March 30, 2011 asking for my refund again and Dwayne said he had no money and when he got a roofing job he would send my refund, then he hung up on me and would not answer the phone when I called back. I would not recommend hiring these people as they take advantage of you and then tell you that they did. Before doing business with any roofer check them out thoroughly so they do not take advantage of you.
